House in Central Reykjavík, Iceland

We are a family of five, a couple with three young daughters.
We live in a three storey house in the centre of Reykjavík, next to the big cathedral Hallgrímskirkja. The main living floor is the 1st floor, which includes a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. Bedrooms are on the top floor, as well as on the ground floor. There are 3 bedrooms, each of which can accommodate 2 people. The bathroom is located on the top floor. We have a small South-facing terrace/garden, with a bbq for summer use.
We are enthusiastic vintage furniture collectors, especially for classic Scandinavian designs. However, some of the furniture has 'not yet been fully restored', as our collection keeps on expanding. Our home, furniture as well as house, is an ongoing project of ours.

Our area is the centre of Reykjavík. It's the most vibrant part of the city, with cafe's, bars, restaurants, museums and shops right at our doorstep.
Sundhöllin, an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool (with outdoor hot tubs) is only a few minutes walk and, since this is Iceland, outdoor swimmingpools are never far away: http://www.swimminginiceland.com/
We enjoy living in Reykjavík and could suggest plenty of cultural activities, cafés, restaurants and such for our visitors. We have also travelled extensively in Iceland and would be more than happy to share our inside-information regarding travelling in Iceland with our house-guests. Camping equipment is also available for our guests.
