Ski condo at the base of Copper Mountain -- walk to the chairlift!
COPPER MOUNTAIN, COLORADO
Our condo "Snow Bridge" is located in the heart of Copper Mountain. In the winter, you can walk to the American Eagle Chairlift. In the summer, walk to the golf course. As we are located right on Ten-Mile Creek, you will hear the sounds of the river at night in the summer.
The amenities--Snow Bridge Condominium complex has a hot tub & sauna, located outdoors with mountain views. There is underground heated parking (no shoveling snow off the car).
The building--Snow Bridge is a small complex with a liquor store, ski training center, and ski rental center on the first floor. There is an elevator to the second and third floors.
About the town: The town of Copper is in the resort area of Summit County, at an elevation of over 9000 feet. The air is crisp and cool, even in the summer. There is a lot of snow in the winter, but we have over 300 days of sun each year. So, with luck, it will snow all night and be sunny in the morning. There is a fire department, post office, recreation center, and medical center.
About Summit County--Within a short drive, there is skiing at over 6 great mountains: Loveland (30 minutes away), A-Basin (20 minutes), Keystone (15), Breckenridge (25), Copper (0), and Vail (20). Steamboat is 90 minutes away and Aspen is 4 hours.
About the condo--The kitchen with whatever you may need to cook. You may enjoy our DVDs, games, puzzles, snow shoes, and skates. The master bedroom is in the loft and has a new king-size bed with views of the half-pipe and ski runs. The guest room has two sets of bunk-beds, one full size and one queen size. The office has a hotel roll-away bed, so one person can use it as a private room. There are two full bathrooms. There is free wifi throughout Copper Mountain.

Copper Mountain is a small resort village located at an elevation of 9000 feet--3000 meters. It is sunny & cool. In the winter, the temperatures drop to 20 degrees (O in C), but the sun is bright & warm. You can eat outdoors at lunch if the sun is out in the winter!
In summer, the daily temperature is about 75 degrees (20 degrees C). The sun is hot, but the air is cool and crisp. In Summit, you need a hat, sunscreen, and sun glasses, year 'round.
The village of Copper has restaurants offering burgers, pizza, BBQ, Italian, and Mexican. There is a small market, a liquor store, two coffee shops, gift shops, sporting good stores, and a spa.
There are free shuttle buses to other Summit County towns: Frisco, Silverthorne, and Breckenridge.
There are bigger markets and department stores (Safeway, Target, Walmart, King Soopers) in the towns of Frisco and Silverthorne--all on the bus route.

Over onze familie
Our family is comprised of Skip, Jennifer, and our son, George. We have traded over 10 times with Intervac. Through Intervac, we have exchanged with friends in Ireland, Iceland, Canada, Scotland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Mexico,and Finland. We love Intervac.
My husband's parents took him on his first Intervac trade to London in the 1970s! We are very open to trading, and even if we do not list your country on our wish list, contact us. Airfare deals really tends to help us decide where to travel next.
Lifestyle
Winter--Our condo at Snow Bridge is fun in the winter -- there is no need to drive, park, or take the shuttle bus. You can walk to the ski slopes from our door in 5 minutes. There are other great winter activities, too: sledding, skating, and snow shoeing. We have ice skates and snow shoes for you to use, while you visit.
Copper is a good mountain for all levels of skiing & riding. The resort has three mountains: East Village for experts with a terrain park, Center Village for intermediate (our location), and West Village for beginners. Copper also is home to Woodward, a skier/rider extreme school.
Summer--In the summer, Copper Mountain is fun, too! The chairlift runs bikes up the mountain for hiking & biking--the National Forest is just across the street from our condo. There are trail rides on horse back. Copper Mountain has an 18-hole golf course. In town, there are art festivals, beer festivals, and free concerts all summer - long. There are activities for kids, too. There are day-passes for the paddle boats, rock climbing walls, bungee jumping, and go-carts.
All Year--Year-round there are free concerts, fireworks, festivals, and other activities. Other than the off-season (April/May and then September/October) Copper Mountain is a hopping resort.
