We are looking for an exchange Summer 2019 for 2-3 weeks.

We are a family of 4 - Andre, Mirella, Helene & Jakob.

Our apartment is located in a small town house. In this house there are 3 apartments, but nevertheless we use the house entrance alone. In the apartment above us is Mirella's office and a guest room, which is not part of the offer. The house owners live in the attic, but they use the entrance of the neighbouring house and are usually not at home in summer.

On the back of the house there is a small garden with a terrace for sitting and barbecue. The garden belongs to our house only, but there is no fence to the neighboring house. We share the large trampoline with our dear neighbours, and there is also a table tennis table that we can use.
Our apartment is located in the middle of the city centre, yet it is located in an unbelievably quiet area. In our garden there is a large pear tree which provides shade in summer. When the window is open, you can hear the birds chirping and the seagulls screeching. The city noise is very quiet here.

In our apartment there are many rooms on 2 floors:
On the ground floor there are 2 small children's rooms, the living room, the kitchen and a small bathroom.
In the basement there is the parents' bedroom, André's study and the bathroom.

We live in a beautiful quarter that is very popular and a great place for young people especially young families. You can reach all the important shops for your daily life within a walk of a few minutes: bakeries, supermarkets, pharmacies, drugstores, restaurants, bars, cafés, toy shops..... On "Doberan" Place, a central transfer point for buses and trams, there is a weekly market with even organic and regional products. But nevertheless you won´t notice any market noise in our home - it is still very quiet and refreshing. Just three blocks away (500m) there is Rostock "Stadthafen" with lots of restaurants, shops and of course boats and ships of every kind! On the same way down the street there is also a beautiful and safe playground with a basketball field. We have very friendly neighbours that will probably answer all of your questions ;-)) You will reach Warnemünde beach with 20 min by car. You can see the big ferries to Scandinavia coming in or departing, or you can go for a shopping tour as well as having great dinner or lunch. Of course you can also take a bath on our beautiful sand beaches there. You will find kilometers of guarded beaches as well as very natural environment there. You can reach Berlin within 2 hours bay car, Hamburg in 1,5. Don´t forget to visit also Lübeck, Schwerin, Wismar, Potsdam. We would also recommend "Mecklenburg Seenplatte" with hundreds of lakes where you can experience pure nature - on a canoe, on bikes or even on a horse! Recently 2 young cats live with us, which need care during our vacation.
