House near ORLEANS
Fleury-les-Aubrais is very close to Orléans (10min by tramway or car ). Orléans is a nice town, pretty big (160 000 inhabitants), easily accessible by car or by ground transportation (train, bus, tram etc...). It is wellknown for its famous cathedral and for being Jeanne of Arc's city. Its pedestrian street is very nice to do shopping.
It is also very pleasant to have a walk or to run along the river "La Loire" or through the beautiful forests around the town.
There are many places for swimming near our house : swimming pools or ponds. .
Our 140 m² house lies in a quiet suburb near the train station which is 20 min by walk ou 5 min by car . The neighbours are friendly and helpful.

The garden is 700 m² and it's pleasant to lunch or have a sunbath on the south facing terrace. If you're lucky and depending on the season, you even will be able to pick-up some fruits or vegetables!

A l’image des habitants de la région, nos hôtes étaient charmants et très spontanés. Leur maison était particulièrement propre. Un bel endroit pour partir à bicyclette et longer la Loire. Leur logement correspondait bien à leur annonce sur Intervac.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Fleury-les-Aubrais. La maison de Joël se trouve dans un quartier très calme à quelques km seulement du centre d’Orléans. Orléans est une ville historique et animée à la fois qui vaut le détour. Les environs sont facilement abordables à bicyclette. Nous n’étions pas seuls sur la superbe voie verte le long de la Loire, majestueuse et changeante, qui traverse Orléans!

We are two persons : Pascale and Joël
Pascale worked in a administrative health office and has two childs 40 and 36 ; Joël , engineer , has three childs 47 ,45 ,39 .
We are both retired.
We like discover towns and sight-seeings , museums ,antiquities shops . We also like walking in the country, or swimming , or reading .
