A cozy (gezellig) house in a beautiful village just 9 km above Amsterdam
Our house is a cozy single-family home in a quiet street in Broek in Waterland.
The incredible thing is: WITHIN 12 MINUTES you can reach AMSTERDAM CENTRAL STATION with the frequently running bus.
The house has a front and back garden (with a self-built tree house), a shed with two bicycles. The house has a living room (with piano) and kitchen downstairs, three bedrooms on the first floor with two double beds and a single bed and the bathroom. Plus a light attic which contains another pull-out double bed.

Broek in Waterland is a beautiful small village with a historic center from the 17th century.
The greatest feature of this house is the short travel time to Amsterdam:
Within 15 minutes (!) you can reach Amsterdam Central Station with the bus+ metro that run every 5 minutes.
Amsterdam offers endless possibilities: museums, shops, theaters, concert halls, art galleries, cafés and restaurants.
The village is located further in the 'polder' landscape, with many lakes, ditches and waterways. You can also enjoy cycling here (we have a number of bicycles available), fishing, boating and swimming in the IJsselmeer.
In addition to the village itself, there are beautiful tourist villages in the region, such as Zuiderwoude, Marken, Volendam, Edam, the Keukenhof and Zaanse Schans.
The sea is at a distance of 35 minutes.
