Beautiful family home in Naarden, close to Amsterdam
Our house is built in the 1930's and brings a wonderful combination of the details of that time and the luxury of today. On the ground floor you find our large living and dining room with open kitchen and doors opening into our nice garden with terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction cooking, 2 ovens/ microwaves and a dishwasher. We have a wonderful large garden with a cosy lounge area, a dining area and our favorite spot under the trees. We also have a front yard with a lounge area. In the front yard you also find a spot to charge an electrical car. We have an electrical car (Tesla model 3) and depending on the exchange location we are also open to exchange cars. On the first floor you find the master bedroom with a double bed and balcony, a second bedroom with a large single bed (1.20 m wide), an office/ work room and a large bathroom. In the bathroom we have a big round bath, 2 sinks and a separate shower. On the second floor we have 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and one with a large single bed (1.20 m wide). Depending on the size of your family we will use the smaller bedroom with the single bed on the second floor to store our personal belongings. On the second floor is a bathroom with sink and shower. There you also find the washer and dryer. On the third flour is a beautiful large bedroom with double bed. The 3 bedrooms with double bed all have their own TV. In all bedrooms you will find a desk with chair and wardrobes/ possibility to store your clothing. We have 3 separate toilets in the house, on the ground floor, 1st and 2nd floor.

We live in Naarden which is a beautiful old city with an authentic city wall and canals. We have some amazing restaurants at walking distance from our house. Our area has the best of many world and is very popular in The Netherlands because of it. We have the old town of Naarden at 5 minutes by bike or 10 minutes walking from where we live. We also walk from our home into beautiful nature areas in 5 mins. The Naarden/Bussum train station is 5 minutes from our house by bike. From there direct trains take you in 25 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. Curious to explore other cities in the Netherlands... also Utrecht and Amersfoort are under 30 minutes by train. We have the Naardermeer and Gooimeer where you can surf and swim in about 20 minutes by bike or 5 by car. Also the coast with popular beaches like Zandvoort and Bloemendaal are under an hour drive. Our neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, the only traffic is from the people living here.

Nice to meet you! We are a family of six, Angelique and Wim and our four sons of 20, 19, 18 and 15. Our oldest two boys already moved out because of their studies. We are an active family and love sports, hiking and being outdoors. We love to get to know new people and places and go out for a nice dinner. During our (exchange) holiday we expect/hope that our oldest two will find a moment in their busy schedules to join us, so we can be the six of us.

Our boys are all soccer players and also love to be active during holidays. We love swimming, so house with a pool or sea/lake/ beach nearby would be perfect for us.
