Dear Intervac Family,
We are a family with two children, we live in an sunny appartment with three bedrooms, a large dining room and a terrace in a small street without trafic in Paris. Our apartment is just 3 minutes to walk to the station menilmontant at the fourth floor of a five floors House. It is very good situated to visit paris : from the metro ménilmontant your find a direct metro line to the Champs-Elysées (scientific museum and several Art museums) a metro or a bus brings you in ten or fitfeen minutes In the quarter of the Marais with its charming museums ( Musée Picasso, Musée Carnavalet about the history of Paris ........ ) or to the center of Paris with the Beaubourg Museum of art. From the Metro Ménilmontant you need twenty minutes to go to the Parc de la Vilette with a wery big Scientific Museum with a lot of exhibitions and activities for Children and adults (planetarium and Imax cinema).
We have already made over 32 exchanges in Paris and abroad and the families did appreciate every time our confortable apartment. The familys do appreciate the contrast between the quiet neighborhood we live in and the quarter with lot of life where our apartment is located (with many bars, restaurants , a cultural center, many parks...) : five Minutes walking you find the PARC DE BELLEVILLE with a wonderful view over Paris and the famous cemetery of Le père Lachaise.
We have Three bycycles and a volvo break.
We are looking for an exchange in the next autumn (we have School holidys from Wednesday the 26. October to tuesday the 1. November); Our oldest son loves Surfing and fishing,

Nous aimons nous promener à vélo dans Paris et nous rendre en vélo dans le Bois de Vincennes qui se trouve environ à 20 minutes de chez nous. Nous allons plusieurs fois par semaine à la piscine (nous avons plusieurs piscines à côté de chez nous comme par exemple une piscine Olympique à 10 minutes en bus ou une autre piscine de 50 mètres découverte à 15 minutes en vélo. Pendant notre temps libre nous aimons aussi aller voir des expositions : nous avons un centre culturel qui organise des expositions d'art contemporain à 5 minutes de chez nous et fréquenter des musées. Nous aimons voir nos amis et passer du bon temps avec nos voisins. Nous aimons beaucoup notre cité du Labyrinthe qui est très verte avec beaucoup d'arbres et de fleurs.
We Like to cycle through Paris and going to the Wool of Vincennes that is around 20 minutes from our House. We go serveal times in the week swimming (we have several swimming pools in our neighborhood and for example two olympic swimming pools (you cann go to these swimming pools with the bus or with the bycicle). In our free time we like to see art or scientific exhibitions : we have a cultural center 5 minutes away with temporary art exhibtions. We like to see our Friends and neighbours.
Three minutes away you find tuesdays and fridays a big and very affordable market where you can buy a lot of exotic fruits and vegetables and exotic products.
