We are retired and our home offers a lot of comfort. Our car is a Toyota Auris hybride. (automatic)
We like to make several short and longer exchanges through the year.
We do have a small garden surrounded by a wall. Several nice playground/parks are very near. (see map)
Castricum is a beautifull quiet village with good public transport. Easy to reach by train from the airports.
The beach is close by , less than 5 km. You can go by car. We prefer to go by bike.
Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are some of the many very beautifull old cities.

Sobre el vecindario
We live in a nice and quiet village near the sea, with dunes and a nice beach.
There are lots of lakes and bicycle roads.
And the area is famous for all sorts of beautifull birds.
Castricum has good public transport. Trains a least 4 times an hour to the nearby cities.
Especially to go to Amsterdam and Haarlem, where parking is expensive.
Haarlem and Alkmaar are very nice cities for shopping. Edam is worth a visit too.
We do have beautifull villages (Graft en De Rijp for example), rivers and lakes and a very wide beach.
In sprintime there a very beautifull fields near with tulips etc. "The Keukenhof" is world famous for it: www.keukenhof.nl
There are lots of beautifull old cities, large and small in our region, with musea,
markets, botanical gardens, playgrounds, cinema's , restaurants etc etc.
Easy to reach bij train are also: Enkhuizen, Hoorn, Delft, Gouda, Rotterdam
(Sugg. always take a boattrip and see the cities in a very beautifull way).
Aeropuerto más cercano: Amsterdam airport Schiphol, this is also an interesting place to visit on a daytrip.

After a period of preparing our exchanges, we had a lot of usefull contact by what's app. We have been in Tarragona during the Semana Santa in the beautifull house of Marisa and Salvador. We have enjoyed beïng in Tarragona very much. This very old and interesting city has very much to offer. We have very good memories of all the special events including also the building of "human castels". Really spectaculair and recommended. The last days we went to the beach in La Mora. It was really splendid. We have met Marisa and Salvador accidently at the airport when we came home. It was like meeting old friends.
Gut gelegenes Haus mit allen üblichen Einrichtungen und Geräten. Netter Kontakt ohne Probleme.
Sehr zuvorkommend, schnelle Kommunikation, Haus war geräumiger als gedacht

Our son Jesse (1981) lives with Anna in Hilversum and they have a son Elliot (7) in Hilversum.
Our daughter Anke (1983) lives also in Castricum, she is moving this summer
