Stylish cottage near Cheltenham, Cotswolds, Oxford and Bath
Our village is small, friendly and full of character, we have a traditional English pub within walking distance. It's very peaceful yet only a few minutes by car to the M5 giving easy access to the Cotswolds, Oxford, Stratford-on-Avon, Bath, and the Brecon Beacons. The spa town of Cheltenham, gateway to the Cotswolds, is a 15 minute drive away. The cottage is also within an hours drive of Jeremy Clarkson’s famous pub and Diddly Squat farm shop.
The cottage has a beautiful double bedroom and there is a double sofa bed in the main sitting room. You can walk to the river to watch boats meandering by and maybe see a heron or two. This is a relaxing place to chill and recharge your batteries, perfect for couples with a South facing private courtyard garden complete with bbq.

About the neighborhood
We live in a very friendly village which is very quiet yet within 10 minutes you can be on the motorway network. We are an hour's drive from Birmingham International airport and approximately 1.5 hours from Bristol airport. Getting to London by train is pretty easy and there is a variety of options to get there. The historic town of Tewkesbury with its beautiful Abbey and boat trips on the River Avon is only a few minutes away, as is Upton on Severn which is a quaint place for a riverside drink or bite to eat. The Malvern Hills can be seen from our house and beyond are the Brecon Beacons if you feel the need for more challenging walking. If it's culture you are after, Eastnor Castle is a very pretty place to visit, Shakespeare's Stratford on Avon is a short drive away and there are a variety of National Trust places on the doorstep such as Croome Park and a little further afield, the beautiful gardens of Hidcote. Cheltenham offers great shopping, and the lovely architecture of Bath and Oxford are also within easy driving distance. Whatever your reason for visiting this area, there is a lot on offer.

We are a couple who sometimes like to travel with old friends, sight see, eat good food and if there is good golf, my husband will be delighted.
Paul has retired from running a major medical equipment company and Wendy is now retired from HR.
We have 2 dogs but our house is separate to the exchange property so no need for pet care.
We enjoy cooking, walking and eating out.
Unfortunately I am allergic to cats so not able to stay in homes where there are cats.
