Our house is semi detached and located on a quiet laneway. The house is 150 years old, recently renovated. We have a kitchen/dining room, living room, playroom, master bedroom (king size bed), 2x bedrooms (double beds) and one bedroom (with bunkbed & trundle bed). We have a large garden with patio area and a small backyard.

Summer 2026 we are hoping for the North of Spain, either the Basque, Galicia or Catalan coastline. French coastline too. Being near the sea is essential! That is the dream, but we are open to offers from Europe!! |

About the neighborhood
From our house you can walk to most amenities: a fabulous bakery, butcher's, supermarket, newsagents aswell as coffee shops, restaurants and bars.
Tramore is renowned for its long, sandy beach. You can swim, surf, kite surf, bodyboard, go on nature walks, explore rock pools, hike through the sand dunes, build sand castles ... or just relax with a coffee and watch it all happen!
Tramore is ideal for children with two outdoor playgrounds, two indoor play centres, an indoor swimming pool, farms, skating, horse riding aswell as tennis, golf and other sports.
In our garage, you'll find two adult bikes. We also have four bikes (ages 11, 9, 6, 4), three scooters (age 6-12). If you can manage the hills, there are plenty of places to cycle. Tramore is also close to Waterford's Greenway, a cycle track that runs along an old train line. There are plenty of places to hire more cycling equipment if you need it.

We've had a great exchange with Aoife and Ian and the kids. It was lovely to spend our holidays in their great family home, enjoying the sea (view), the local life in Tramore. There's plenty of fun things to do and beautiful nature to explore the South Eastern part of Ireland, our family greatly enjoyed it. It was our first exchange, but it absolutely superceded our expectations. Ian and Aoife were so hospitable and supporting in helping us setteling in and getting around and about.. we loved it!
Beautiful town on south east coast of Ireland, the house well located, large and comfortable!

We like the outdoors, particularly the beach and the sea. We play tennis and basketball when we can. Three young children keep us on our toes!
So far we have exchanged six times: to Belgium (2017), the Netherlands (2018), Galway (2018, Ireland) and Sweden (2019, 2022) and Spain (2024). It is a great way to travel and get to know unexpected places! We are looking forward to many more exchanges! We have recently moved house in the same neighbourhood.
