Family apartment in Ljubljana
Comfortable, spacious and cozy...
We live in semidetached house (build in 1943 and fully renovated in 2009), with two apartments. Our apartment is on the first floor and has two levels. In the first level there is a large living room with kitchen, dining area and bathroom with toilet. From this level there is also access to the 35m2 large terrace (with grill). In the second level there is open space with couch and library, one master bedroom with king size bed (1,80mx2,00m) and son's room with double bed (1,40mx2,00m), suitable for two smaller kids or one teenager.
The parking place is front of the house and our garage, which is full of bikes (you can use them for exploring the city if you wish so :)
We have a cat called Bine, which will be more than happy if you are able to take care of him :) He usually spends majority of the time outside so, apart from feeding, he does not need much attention.

It takes you fifteen minutes by foot or ten minutes by bike to Ljubljana city center.
It takes you an up to an hour drive to the Alps, Adriatic coast or Bled.
It takes you two hours to Zagreb, Rijeka, Opatija or other cities or islands of Croatian part of Northern Adriatic.
It takes you 3-5 hours to Venice, Salzburg, Vienna and Budapest.
Nothing is far away and plentiful of opportunities for different sports, leisure and travel.

We are family of five: Staša, myself (Primož) and 3 children (Luka 28, Mark 26 and Miha 17 years) of which only Miha is still travelling with us. My wife, of Finnish origin, works in HR department of transport and logistic company. I work in sales and marketing in largest Slovene pharmaceutical company. As a family our hobbies include all kind of sports and traveling.
We use to be a member of "Home for exchange", which has been taken over and renamed to "Love home swap". They introduced points system that we find very confusing, so we decide to join Intervac. After very nice experience with 6 exchanges so far we are looking forward to our future exchanges. We are open to various proposals. :)

“La Slovénie a été pour nous une très belle découverte. Entre Mer et montagne, Ljubljiana offre en effet un cadre tout à la fois dynamique et paisible, bref l'idéal pour des vacances en famille. L'appartement de nos hôtes était très agréable à vivre et son emplacement idéal pour la découverte de la ville en vélo. Le centre est à une quinzaine de minutes à pied et cela a été pour nous l'occasion de découvrir quelques petits restaurants aux menus alléchants. Les échanges avec Primoz et sa famille ont été très chaleureux et cela a été un plaisir de partager un moment ensemble. Nous les remercions d'ailleurs pour leurs précieux conseils de visite, comme pour leur gentillesse.
