Our flat is located in a quiet yet central neighbourhood (Weststadt), which can be described as one of the most beautiful and popular neighbourhoods in Heidelberg. It is a residental area with little tourism. Its architecture, wonderful old buildings, lots of old trees, Cafés, bars, playgrounds and reduced traffic make the neighborhood a wonderful place to live.

The traffic on our street is mostly bicycles. Parking a car close to our home can be challenging, there's no reserved parking space. Getting round and about Heidelberg is easiest with a bicycle, on foot or with public transport (Busstop, Tramstation, train station all within 5 min. walking distance)

Our flat is on the 1st floor (no elevator). It is 90m²: kitchen, master bedroom, 2 children's bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the wonderful garden as an outdoor living room in summer. The forest (Odenwald) quite literally begins right behind our house. Since it is a rear building, there is no traffic noise at all - so you might be able to hear the call of the owlet at night or observe animals like fireflies or bats!

What makes the location quite unique is that your interestes can vary a lot - but the location always fits your interest.
Hiking the Odenwald forrest, seeing the oldtown, hanging around in our neighbarhood, taking the local train to Mannheim, Schwetzingen, Speyer, Weinheim; - everything is possible.
