Nous habitons une magnifique maison centenaire dans un quartier paisible près du marché By à Ottawa.
Entièrement rénovée, notre maison saura plaire aux amateurs de charme d'antan allié au confort moderne (dont la climatisation). Elle comprend une cuisine lumineuse et bien équipée (avec lave-vaisselle et machine à espresso), une salle à manger conviviale, un salon confortable (avec piano, mais sans télévision), un charmant hall d'entrée lambrissé de cèdre, une chambre principale confortable avec salle de bain attenante (avec douche double sur mesure), une deuxième salle de bain et un sous-sol aménagé avec toilettes. Vous profiterez également d'une grande terrasse avec auvent et d'un beau jardin fleuri.
Le marché By est à environ 30 minutes de marche et deux supermarchés sont accessibles en 20 minutes de marche. De plus, notre quartier, qui abrite plusieurs ambassades, possède un beau parc où vous pourrez jouer au ballon ou pique-niquer, ainsi qu'une pataugeoire extérieure et une piscine intérieure. Ottawa est une charmante petite capitale qui abrite des musées de renommée mondiale (Musée de l'Histoire, Musée des beaux-arts du Canada, Monument commémoratif de guerre, etc.) et une multitude de restaurants pour tous les goûts. Les cyclistes seront ravis des excellentes pistes cyclables de la ville et des environs. La Colline du Parlement, le canal Rideau (site classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO), le parc de la Gatineau (cyclisme, randonnée, lacs, etc.) et les quartiers de Glebe et de Rockcliffe Park méritent tous une visite.
Notre chatte, Blanche, est timide, mais elle s'habituera vite à ta présence et ronronnera. On peut lui trouver un endroit où séjourner si vous préférez ne pas avoir de chat.

Wir wohnen in einem wunderschönen 100 Jahre alten Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend in der Nähe des ByWard Market in Ottawa.
Unser komplett renoviertes Haus wird unserer Meinung nach all jene ansprechen, die den Charme von damals mit modernem Komfort (einschließlich Klimaanlage) verbinden. Wir bieten eine schöne, sonnige und gut ausgestattete Küche (mit Geschirrspüler und Espressomaschine), ein gemütliches Esszimmer, ein komfortables Wohnzimmer (mit Klavier, aber ohne Fernseher), ein charmantes Foyer aus Zedernholz, ein gemütliches Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad (mit maßgefertigter Doppeldusche), ein zweites Badezimmer und einen ausgebauten Keller mit Gästetoilette. Wir bieten außerdem eine große Terrasse mit Markise und einen wunderschönen Blumengarten.
Wir sind etwa 30 Gehminuten vom ByWard Market entfernt; zwei Supermärkte erreichen Sie in 20 Gehminuten. Darüber hinaus verfügt unser Viertel, in dem sich mehrere Botschaften befinden, über einen wunderschönen Park, in dem Sie Ball spielen oder picknicken können, sowie über ein Planschbecken im Freien und ein Hallenbad.

We live in a beautiful 100-year-old house in a quiet neighborhood near the ByWard Market in Ottawa.
Our completely renovated house will appeal to those who appreciate vintage charm combined with modern comforts (including air conditioning). We offer a lovely, sunny, and well-equipped kitchen (with a dishwasher and espresso machine), a cozy dining room, a comfortable living room (with a piano, but no TV), a charming cedar-paneled foyer, a comfortable master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (with a custom double shower), a second bathroom, and a finished basement with a guest toilet. We also offer a large terrace with an awning and a beautiful flower garden.
We are about a 30-minute walk from the ByWard Market; two supermarkets are within a 20-minute walk. Furthermore, our neighborhood, which is home to several embassies, has a beautiful park where you can play ball or have a picnic, as well as an outdoor paddling pool and an indoor swimming pool.
Ottawa is a beautiful little capital city with world-class museums (Museum of History, National Gallery, War Memorial, etc.) and numerous restaurants to suit every taste. Cycling enthusiasts will be delighted by the excellent bike paths in the city and surrounding area. Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Gatineau Park (cycling, hiking, lakes, etc.), and the Glebe and Rockcliffe Park neighborhoods are all worth a visit.
Our cat, Blanche, is shy but will get used to you and purr at you. We can find her a place to stay if you prefer not to have a cat.
