House in DOMENE, 10km from Grenoble. Rhone-Alpes France
large house with garden, close to the village. Our house has two floors with 4 bedrooms
and 2 bathrooms. 15mn by car from downtown Grenoble. Or 30 mn by bicycle.
It is located in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. 5mn to a lake.
Our house is well equipped with everything you might need ( 7 bikes in various sizes), BBQ, TV etc...
The nearest mountains trails are about 15mn from the house.
In Belledonne and Chartreuse mountains there are magnificent walks with beautiful views and that at every level of hiking ability.
There are ski stations after 30mn by car from our home

We are two young retirees, having retired in 2025. This year, we also finished building our wooden house. Our three daughters are grown, and sometimes they join us for a few days during a home exchange with another family.We love hiking in the mountains and long walks in any environment. Forests, hills, or arid plains—we love exploring the areas surrounding the houses we exchange.We really enjoy the places we exchange. Being avid readers, we love to read in a comfortable spot. Culture is another passion of ours, along with hiking. As avid art lovers, we enjoy visiting museums and local exhibitions, as well as exploring the architecture of the regions we visit. And if we discover design shops, it's a delight, as we are also passionate about and collect contemporary design.
Our house is Scandinavian-inspired because we love these regions where we have participated in many exchanges.Like some others, we designed the sauna first and then the rest of the house.
