Our holiday apartment ( suited only for 2 persons ) is exactly 44 m2 big, situated in one of the best, most exclusive and safest neighbourhoods in Berlin, Uhlandsstr. 195, next to Steinplatz. Our next door neighbour is the 5 star Hotel "Am Steinplatz", where security is operating 24 hours a day.
The apt. has a big balcony overlooking the street with its nice old trees and an elevator. Within 5 minutes walk you are at Kurfürstendamm," the 5th av. of Berlin", with all its exclusives shops, or the famous Savigny Platz with all its restaurants.

Within 7 minutes walking distance you are at the trainstation, Zoologischer Garden, where trains leave every 2 minutes for Berlin Mitte, where the Parlament is situated. The ride takes 8 minutes.
8 minutes walk from the apt. to the historic "Gedächtnis Kirche" and in 10 minutes walk you arrive at KaDeWe, the biggest shoppingcenter in Europe. There, on the 7th floor you find a restaurant with a beautiful view over Berlin.

Wir haben bei unserem französischen Tauschpartner eine wunderbar entspannende Zeit verbracht. Es hat die für uns lange Anreise gelohnt! Schönes ruhiges Anwesen mit Garten.Der ungewöhnliche Hafen der Austernzüchter, das leckere Essen,die Nähe zu Arcachon, das Bassin mit Naturschutzgebieten … und die grösste Dune Europas. Alles erreichbar auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.
L'échange fut facile grâce à un dialogue ouvert et précis.Nos partenaires furent très aimables et leur appartement correspondait à nos attentes.Au retour tout a été facile entre nous.Un échange très positif.

We both enjoy working in the creative field. We do a lot of travelling all over the world, and when we are at home in Weil am Rhein, we like hiking and bicycling in the vinyards, along the Rhine, in the Black Forest, or visiting Basel/CH for exibitions and theater. For our health we do visit the hot springs in the area.
When in our holiday apartment in Berlin (DE9162), we enjoy the life of a big exciting City, the numerous museums, exibitions, cinemas etc.. We love bicycling along the canals and eating in one of the many restaurants this city offers.
We are NON-smokers.
There is TV but no Internet connection in our holiday apt.
