Our house is located in an old fishing town with a historical centrer, only 60 kilometers from Amsterdam and close to forests, lakes, ideally for walking and cycling. The house is spacious, has five bedrooms and a bathroom and offers place for 7. We have a nice backyard where you can sit quietly in the sun.

Harderwijk is centrally located in the Netherlands at the edge of National park "The Veluwe" and the wetland area "Randmeren". Harderwijk is via a bridge directly connected to the Flevopolder. Amsterdam is within one hour's drive.
Harderwijk itself is a lovely old fishing village with a nice ancient city centre, a lovely harbor and boulevard and a "Dolphinarium".

We are very experienced Intervacmembers. We love to exchange houses because this it gives you the chance to become a citizen of a country for a couple of weeks.. We like to make hikes and visit musea.

DE51042Von Anfang an bis zum letzten Tag war die Kommunikation mit Reina und Paul schnell, unkompliziert und sehr hilfreich.
Ihr Haus liegt in einer ruhigen und angenehmen Wohngegend der Stadt, und sie hatten für uns alles sehr gut und liebevoll vorbereitet. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zu Hause und willkommen gefühlt und die zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Auch unser eigenes Haus haben sie gut behandelt und ordentlich hinterlassen, so dass es eine Freude war, wieder nach Hause zu kommen.
Alles in allem: ein sehr gelungener Austausch, den wir bei Gelegenheit auch sehr gerne wiederholen würden. Sehr empfehlenswert!

GB1001523This was a successful exchange with Paul Hoogland & Reina Louw in a quiet neighbourhood with excellent cycling in the nearby woods. Their house is large, clean and comfortable with a pleasant small garden. Communication was excellent, and they left our house clean and tidy. Would recommend!

We also established a What's Up Chat for easy communication, just for the duration of our stay.
