A nice house in the south-west of Holland, close to sea, lake and the countryside.
Welcome to our nice and comfortable house in a quiet environment.
Our house is situated along a dike.
Downstairs you will find the living and dining area and a big and fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and the bathroom. On the second floor is also a bedroom.
The washing machine and dryer are situated downstairs.
In Melissant we have a famous bakery which is well known on the island. For your daily shopping you have to go to Stellendam (6km) and Middelharnis (10) there are several supermarkets.
We also have a 18 holes golf course at 10 minutes walk.
Within a 10 minutes drive your are in Middelharnis or Ouddorp , where you will find many shops and restaurants. We live about 10 km from the sea.
Rotterdam or Middelburg are only 40 min by car. Grevelingen Lake is about 10 minutes by bike.
We live very close to the Zeeland area, with the world famous Oosterschelde weir.

We live in the village named Melissant, part of Goeree Overflakkee.
The area is agriculture and fishery based.
You will find silence as well as nice villages to see.
We live also near the beach and the dunes, where you can swim, walk and bike.

Delft, Rotterdam, The Hague, Scheveningen, Dordrecht, Gouda, Middelburg, Oudorp, Zierikzee
All within a reasonable distance from our residence.

Zeer comfortabele woning, zonnige beschutte tuin, prettig contact (o.a. via whatsapp), Rustig gelegen nabij zee, strand en duinen, leuke stadjes. Ideaal voor vogelliefhebbers (flamingo's!) En een leuke poes om voor te zorgen.
Ruil zoals verwacht. Erg fijn contact gehad, vooraf en ook tijdens de ruil. Fijn huis, fijne mensen.
Nice family with a superb and very clean house and garden ! Looks like brandnew . We had a very good contact by whatsapp. We took care of their lovely cat Woody which can freely enter and leave the house. Lovely biking area and nearby the sea ! Watering the outdoor plants takes only 5 minutes ! Very quiet neigbourhood with only the songs of the birds . We had a great time ! Many thanks for a nice exchange ! Frans and Sonja *
Yvonne und Mart sind sehr nette Menschen, die Kommunkikation war sehr gut. Auch während des Tausches haben wir per WhatsApp Fotos und Infos ausgetauscht. Wir versorgten den lieben Kater Woody, schmusten morgens und abends mit ihm. Das Haus ist groß, sehr ordentlich und war wie auf den Bildern. Der Garten ist sehr schön für laue Sommerabende, auch wenn es einmal kurz regnet, da es eine überdachte Loungeecke gibt. Leider war das Jacuzzi defekt, was uns vor dem Tausch auch mitgeteilt wurde. Die Halbinsel Goeree-Overflakkee ist sehr schön. Die Radwege sind hervorragend. Empfehlenswert ist ein Ausflug nach Delft, Rotterdam, Zierikzee und Domburg. Der breiteste Strandabschnitt ist Ouddorp Strand mit dem Strandlokal "Bij Marc", sehr für Familien geeignet. Will man mehr Ruhe, dann ist der Ouddorp Strand am Noordweg wunderschön. Wir hatten auch sehr netten Kontakt mit der Nachbarin.

We live together in this lovely house with a big garden.
The house is situated along a dike of the small town we live in.
The sea is only 10 km from our house. We visit the dunes and the seaside mostly by bike.
Bigger cities are Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft or Middelburg the distance to these cities is 60, 40 km by car.
The island we live on has a lot of agriculture activities. But due to the availability of lots of water we have very good watersport facilities.
