The African rug on the wall has been replaced by friendly fish. The "master suite," downstairs. Full bath with shower and walk in closet.

On barrier island on the west coast of Florida. Less than one hour to Tampa airport. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 balconies, 2 minutes to beautiful sandy beach.

Beautiful newly remodeled living area with open plan kitchen.

The beach is just across the street, about a two minute walk.

Our outside temperature is lowered by our closeness to the Gulf.  We like to sit on the beach at sunset and enjoy the breeze off the water.

Lots of restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance, three of them within two blocks. 
Tampa and St. Petersburg are close enough to drive to for dinner, a play, or an art museum. Clearwater Beach with its famous beaches and shops is about a fifteen minute drive.
Orlando with Disney World and all the other attractions is less than a two hour drive. You may want to spend time in the Everglades or drive over to Cape Canaveral. It is about a three hour drive to Sanibel Island, "seashell capital of the world."

We have had many previous house exchanges, France, Belgium and England.

Indian Rocks Beach as a small community located on a barrier island close to Tampa Bay in Florida, in the U.S. Small town living at it's best. Walk to lots of restaurants, shops and parks - and the beach.

Very nice stay on the gulf of Mexico, close to Tampa. Convenient to arrange separately the discovery of Miami and the famous keys

A warming family that we met in Paris after our exchange . The comfortable home and car are were very pleasant and as photos. They sent maps before aur stay Don't forget ask the exactly adress of their beach home and every details of their house because there is not a home-book to help you inside. Otherwise their grand-son is very helpful and the interior is very clean and large. All things for the beach are in the small room near the place of the car.
