Cosy house in the green heart of Umbria, close to Marmore's Falls
On the spur overlooking the valley is "La Rocchetta", an old stone house with a picturesque view over the entire Greenway of Nera river. Ideal place to relax in the silence of an ancient medieval village.
Large panoramic terrace solarium, the house has been recently renovated and well equipped for a pleasant, even long stay.
One main bedroom, one room with sofa bed and one sofa bed upstairs in the studio. One bathroom and one toilet, washing machine and other kitchen equipment.
Near the Marmore Falls and Piediluco's lake, and along the Via di Francesco it is the starting point for various level excursions, even by bicycle.
Perfect for active sports like rafting, climbing, cycling, hiking, nordic walk, horse riding...or just relaxing, take a book and enjoy the view from the terrace...
We are 10 min by car from Marmore Falls, or if you want you can reach them by nice walk (less than 1 hour) along the Nera river, easy flat way aslo for kids.
Terni, the main town, is 15 min by car, you can find a lot of shops and nice café and restaurants.
Art and great food await you...you will have a great experience of the slow life of Umbria.
There are a lot of folk and medieval festivals during the year.

Een sprookjesachtige plek om 2 weken door te brengen, het huis ademt historie en de eigenares heeft er alles aan gedaan om ons van harte welkom te heten. Een volle provisiekast en een koel drankje in de koelkast, met de uitnodiging om alle etenswaar te gebruiken. Bovendien nog een uitnodiging om met het gezin uit eten te gaan, in de buurt van ons tijdelijk huis. Het werd een heel gezellig diner met een hartelijke gastvrouw en gast heer en hun leuke zoon.

We're non-smokers. Smokers are welcome if they smoke in the garden..
Sorry but we prefer to not have pets in our home.
You will find our house very clean, tidy for a comfortable stay.
If you don't want to be stressed for final cleaning it's possible to ask for an housekeeper, just let us know, thank you.
Open to any proposal. We like very much seaside, mountins and cities, we love to discover new landscapes and culture.
Sometimes we travel with friends very respectful of Intervac's rules.
