Hello, we are Christine and Rudolf from Hamburg.
After a teaching and counseling career we are now retired.
We love traveling, discovering other cultures and countries and getting in contact with people.
We enjoy hiking and it feels great to us to be out in the nature.
We love going to the theatre, to museums, listening to music, reading history books, discussing politics. Rudolf is a great cook and enjoys buying his groceries on farmers markets. Christine is an art lover, likes creating textile prints.

Our flat is an 110 sqm condominium with two balconies on the 3rd floor in an art nouveau house. We have a double bedroom,an additional room for one person and a bedsofa in the living room. Our two living rooms have a sliding door. The open kitchen has an adjacent dining area. There is a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, the toilet is separate. This is a non smoking flat. The two bicycles are kept in a separate room downstairs. You can use Wifi in the flat.
Our neighbours are very friendly and helpful when you have questions.
We live in a silent one way street. You can do your shopping in little shops or supermarkets nearby. There are also cafes, restaurants and a cinema in the neighbourhood. You can walk to the famous „Isemarkt“, a local farmers market where you can buy delicious products twice a week.
There is a green area not far away. We often walk along the canal in this area and enjoy being outside.
Bus and underground stations are in walking distance (about 8minutes), they will take you without changing downtown in approximately 15 minutes.They also bring you to the Elbe river (Landungsbrücken), the Alster, a big lake, very close to the city, the new elbphilarmonie, many musical halls at the riverside, the town hall (Rathaus), Reeperbahn (St. Pauli), central station (Hauptbahnhof) and other places worth seeing.
The airport is about 35 minutes away.
