Sunny apartment with terrace in Barcelona, Spain
Our home is in a quiet neighborhood and, at the same time, very centric: at Espanya square, very well connected to the city center and all major tourist sites walking, by bus or subway.
Sunny and comfortable, the flat has all modern facilities, air conditioning, complete kitchen, two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, and a sun facing small terrace with a table and chairs for outside eating to enjoy breakfast or dinner at summer time (lunch is better taken inside, since the terrace becomes a solarium at midday).
The flat has:
- Bedroom with a double bed,
- Bedroom with bunk beds.
- Bedroom with a single bunk bed and single sofa bed.
- Playing room (upstairs) with a piano.
- Small bathroom with a shower
- Bathroom with a bath.
We also have a parking place near our flat were you can park your car.
Some distances from our flat by public transport (there is a metro station and bus stops at less than 400 m) :
- To the city center: 4 metro stops.
- To Barcelona beaches: urban bus: 30 minutes
- To Barcelona's train central station : 20 minutes walking (2 metro stops).
- To the airport : 20 minutes by direct bus.

Sobre el vecindario
Our flat is situated at less than 500 m. from Plaça Espanya, in a very quiet and, at the same time, not far from the city center. With a direct bus to/from El Prat Airport.
We are at a walking distance from some of the tourist sites that Barcelona has to offer like MNAC museum, Arenas mall, Poble Espanyol, the Magic Fountain and Montjuic Mountain, with many local restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance.
But Barcelona has many more to offer: www.barcelonaturisme.com/ museums, beaches, parks, theater and cinema, music, Gaudi and modernist buildings... and we are very well connected with public transport to explore the city by bus or subway.
And if you get tired of the city, we are at 15 minutes walking from Barcelona's main train station: Sants Estació, where there are trains going to different interesting places in Catalonia: Tarragona or Girona or Vic; to the beaches all along the south coast (Sitges) or nord of Barcelona; and it is also possible to reach the Pyrenees at Núria valley (www.valldenuria.com/website_valldenuria/eng/index.asp ); or to the theme park "Port Aventura" www.portaventura.co.uk/ . And at plaça Espanya there is a light train station that takes you to Montserrat (http://www.abadiamontserrat.net/%28S%28kbyqfwc0h4ey4komqtkkjexe%29%29/Defaultangles.aspx) were there are very interesting hikings.

Allt stóðst eins og stafur á bók varðandi íbúðc, umhverfi og aðbúnað allan. Íbúðin er einstaklega vel staðsett og stutt í allar almenningssamgöngur og áhugaverða staði. Samskipti við eigendur voru einstaklega góð og upplýsandi. EInstaklega viðkunnanlegt fólk og traust.

We are Sergi and Elsa and have three daughters of 18, 16 and 11 years old.
We enjoy making people welcome at our home and, after several house exchanges, we are very aware that we must respect and look after your property as you will look after ours.
Just one important piece of information: Elsa, Núria and Laia are allergic to animal fur, so we can not exchange with families who have a dog or a cat living inside their house. But we had a successful exchange with a family whose cat lived mainly outside, although it went into the house a lot also. We thank them for cleaning so thoroughly their house of cat hair before our arrival !
