Dear Intervac friends,
We live in the heart of the Champagne country. Region rich in history (baptism of Clovis; coronation of the kings of france; epic of Jeanne d'arc; arrest of king Louis XVI; Napoleon's battles ; first and second World War battles , without forgetting the most prestigious sparkling wine.
We live close to Epernay city, Capital of Champagne, in the lovely valley of the Marne river.Our village is situated in the "Mountain of Reims natural park" with a peculiarity of the "Faux de Verzy" (devious trees that you can only see in three spots in the world).
Epernay and area are world heritage of UNESCO "Coteaux, homes and Caves de Champagne" since July 4, 2015.
Paris is at 1:30 by the highway, Disneyland Ressort 1h There's a lot of recreation, sightseeing, entertainment, walking near us. All Intervac friends with whom we exchanged were delighted with their stay

Nous habitons en plein cœur de la Champagne. Région très riche en histoire (Baptême de Clovis; Sacre des rois de France; Épopée de Jeanne d'Arc; Arrestation du Roi Louis XVI; Batailles de Napoléon; Première et deuxième guerre mondiale sans oublier le plus prestigieux des vins pétillant.
Nous sommes près d'Epernay, dans la très jolie vallée de la Marne, capitale du Champagne.
Epernay et ses environs sont inscrits au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO "Coteaux, Maisons et Caves de Champagne" depuis le 4 juillet 2015.
Notre village est situé dans le parc naturel de la montagne de Reims avec une particularité : les Faux de Verzy (arbres "tortillard" que l'on trouve que dans trois endroits au monde).
Paris est à 1h30 par l'autoroute, Disneyland Ressort à 1h
Il y a énormément de loisirs, visites, distractions, promenades près de chez nous. Tous les amis d'intervac avec lesquels nous avons échangé ont été enchanté de leur séjour

Pascal et Frédérique sont des hôtes très attentionnés. Les communications avec eux sont très faciles que ce soit lors de la préparation du voyage qu’au cours du séjour. Leur agréable et spacieuse maison est très bien située pour visiter la région de la Champagne-Ardenne. Ils ont pris soin de ma maison et l’ont laissé propre et bien rangée. Je recommande sans hésitation un échange de maison avec Pascal et Frédérique.
Frédérique et Pascal sont très sympathiques et leur maison est spacieuse et pleine de lumière. Jardin, aussi spacieux, super, et des voisins qui produisent du bon champagne.
Membres d'Intervac très sympathiques, réactifs et organisés. Très agréable de préparer le séjour avec eux. Séjour sans encombre et tout en ordre à notre retour. Sur place, nous disposions de tout le nécessaire. Beaucoup d'informations reçues pour préparer le séjour.

Discover Champagne country
We live in Dizy, a quiet village of 2000 inhabitants, located in the center of the Champagne vineyard, in the north outskirts of Epernay (the capital of Champagne).
Our family is composed of : Pascal electricity retired master, Frédérique retired mathematics master and now working as secretary in a clinic. Our three children Océane, Aurélien and Alizée are gone from home.
